Exceptional turning radius and small footprint allows the machine to maneuver easily around obstacles and narrow passages on the hull structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The compact design makes it easier to handle the robot during launch and recovery, where deployment frames can used instead of a crane. The deployment frame can be installed on tank top deck and consist of a simple steel structure frame is&nbsp;divided into modules, each weighing less than 25kg, a limit for a&nbsp;person is allowed to lift offshore without any lifting aids. Dependendo das necessidades, ele pode ser equipado com um quadro de perfil baixo apenas para ferramentas dianteiras ou um quadro de perfil alto para a cofragem sob o quadro principal e ferramentas na frente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O rob\u00f4 realiza testes n\u00e3o destrutivos eficientes, inspe\u00e7\u00e3o visual pr\u00f3xima e limpeza de cascos offshore, mas uma tecnologia t\u00e3o vers\u00e1til pode ter outras aplica\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Em 2022, o rob\u00f4, equipado com uma ferramenta de corte abrasivo, foi utilizado a uma profundidade de -90m para recuperar \u00e2ncoras de suc\u00e7\u00e3o de um projeto de descomissionamento de FPSO. Outro projeto interessante foi a limpeza do casco offshore na zona de respingo, onde o Hercules removeu com sucesso um crescimento marinho significativo antes que um FPSO fosse desconectado e rebocado para um estaleiro para um projeto de extens\u00e3o de vida \u00fatil.
