Achilles \u00e9 um rob\u00f4 magn\u00e9tico el\u00e9trico de alta mobilidade projetado principalmente para opera\u00e7\u00f5es subaqu\u00e1ticas. A dire\u00e7\u00e3o \u00fanica e a tra\u00e7\u00e3o nas quatro rodas permitem que o rob\u00f4 enfrente geometrias muito diversas. O rob\u00f4 \u00e9 muito delicado com a superf\u00edcie tratada, minimizando o atrito torsional durante a manobra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Originalmente desenvolvido como o ve\u00edculo Helios, parte do sistema RoboCoat, uma joint venture formada pela Remotion AS e Aker BP para enfrentar o problema global da polui\u00e7\u00e3o por micropl\u00e1sticos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Achilles \u00e9 um ve\u00edculo compacto com uma pegada pequena e alta for\u00e7a magn\u00e9tica de aproximadamente 1.600 kg. \u00c9 um sistema totalmente el\u00e9trico, alimentado por meio de um cabo umbilical a partir de um ponto superior. Est\u00e1 equipado com duas c\u00e2meras pan & tilt e quatro c\u00e2meras HD fixas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Achilles cruza estruturas com facilidade. Rodas de grande di\u00e2metro combinadas com uma suspens\u00e3o magn\u00e9tica adaptativa mant\u00eam os \u00edm\u00e3s paralelos \u00e0 superf\u00edcie e a for\u00e7a magn\u00e9tica constante. Dessa forma, os \u00edm\u00e3s se alinham automaticamente com a geometria em mudan\u00e7a da superf\u00edcie ferromagn\u00e9tica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Com um Sistema de Libera\u00e7\u00e3o R\u00e1pida de Emerg\u00eancia (EQD), o ve\u00edculo pode ser desconectado e recuperado de volta ao conv\u00e9s se a comunica\u00e7\u00e3o for perdida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Achilles \u00e9 otimizado para opera\u00e7\u00f5es subaqu\u00e1ticas que exigem carga mais leve e movimento e manobra estendidos. Ele foi usado com sucesso para inspe\u00e7\u00f5es, veda\u00e7\u00e3o e limpeza, mas tamb\u00e9m pode transportar outras ferramentas. Por exemplo: o rob\u00f4 pode mergulhar com uma placa de cofragem de 450 mm entre as rodas, operada por dois atuadores lineares el\u00e9tricos e com uma ferramenta linear na frente. Ou pode operar com uma m\u00e1quina de moer el\u00e9trica e uma ferramenta de limpeza. Alguns exemplos de ferramentas adequados est\u00e3o ilustrados abaixo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
